Landscape Crew Leader
Puryear Farms Landscaping is expanding our team and looking for organized and detailed thinkers to join our group of landscape professionals.
Landscape Crew Leaders work under the guidance of our seasoned operations manager to lead a team installing a wide range of landscape products.

The operations division consists of the design and installation of all types of landscape, hardscape, planting, irrigation, lighting, and construction projects. The Landscape Crew Leader must be familiar with and have the ability to perform all aspects of these projects, including: installation techniques, project management, supervision, training, customer interaction and reporting.

We currently employ over sixty-five full time employees that serve the Middle Tennessee region. We have big goals and need top performers in order to reach them. Direct Reports & Relationships:
• The LCL will report directly to the Operations manager on a daily basis.
• The LCL will work closely with the sales team, fleet mechanic, and nursery manager to properly coordinate all projects, staff, equipment, and materials needed.
Experience, Skills & Education:
• 3+ years combined experience in landscape installation and Hardscape construction.
• High School degree or GED equivalent.
• Experience leading, organizing and managing multiple people is a must.
• Working knowledge of fleet equipment and trucks used in the industry.
• Must have the ability to read landscape plans and scaled drawings.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving with no criminal record.
• Good written and verbal communication skills. Bilingual in English & Spanish is a PLUS!
• Ability to maintain a professional, positive and charismatic demeanor at all times.

Working Schedule:
• Willing to work long hours as necessary to accomplish set goals
• Approximate work load / week (spring ' 55hrs, summer ' 45hrs, fall 45hrs, winter 40hrs*)
• LCL arrive at 7am or earlier ' usually finished by 4:30 P.M. depending on season
• Available for all winter snow events, ability to work odd hours overnight when needed*
• Must be willing to work Saturdays during peak demand seasons.
• Must have the ability to operate equipment, trucks and lift up to 80lbs.
• Must be comfortable with a highly seasonal job and enjoy the change of pace
Compensation & Benefits:

• Total Compensation of $36,000 ' $42,000
• Incentive structure allowing for additional earnings
• Paid vacation (PTO) after one year with additional day added each year
• Paid holidays (total of 6) after one year
